·Based in Castlebar office, reporting to the station manager ·Selling advertising space and sponsorship opportunities to local and regional business in a telesales and field sales role ·Working to agreed targets on a weekly & monthly basis ·Completing paperwork and preparing weekly reports for the station manager ·Working closely with the Accounts Assistant to ensure smooth running of the sales department ·Logging all enquiries, sales leads and activities in a database ·Generating initiatives to increase revenue The Candidate:
·Must have 2 to 3 years relevant sales experience meeting sales targets ·A strong team player but be able to work on own initiative when required ·Be able to work to tight deadlines ·Attention to detail is vital ·Have excellent communication and people skills ·Must have strong organisational skills ·Must have a good command of the English language and be capable of writing scripts for clients when required
Training will be given to the successful candidate but they must be able to hit the ground running and embrace challenges head on.
Hours of Work: The role requires twenty hours per week. Renumeration: Salary will be paid at the rate of €10 per hour (€200 per week)
